The Race For Education is our PTO's biggest fundraiser each year. Last year our school raised $23,000 for gym renovations. This year money raised will be used to finish the gym renovations and complete other school improvements. Stay tuned for updates as we try to reach our goal of $25,000! We are still accepting donations!
In preparation for Lent all students in grades 1 through 6 will celebrate Mass on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 12:10. All are invited to join us! St. Joseph's observes a Lenten fast on Fridays, and our hot lunch program will abstain from serving meat during Lent.
St. Joseph's has teacher openings for the 2018-2019 school year. We are looking for passionate teachers wanting to teach in a fatih-based environment amidst a community with exciting growth and development. St. Joseph's offers an excellent benefit package including a retirement plan, health, life, and disability insurance, comparable starting salary, and a positive work environment! To inquire, please contact me or send resume to email@example.com.
Please be reminded that there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, Feb. 16, as the St. Joseph's staff will be attending a training for lockdown and intruder procedures. We will also be closed Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents' Day.
Enrollment is now open to the public. If you haven't already reenrolled your child for next school year, please do so as spots are filling quickly!
The Gospel of Mark tells us that the very first words spoken to us by Jesus were, "The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the Gospel." What better way to spend this Lenten season than to meditate on the profound implication of those words.
