Parents are encouraged to participate in their child's educational experience. A newsletter, featuring announcements and school happenings, is sent out weekly to all families.
St. Joseph's has a very active Parent-Teacher Organization. Our PTO supports our teachers and school through multiple fundraisers throughout the school year. Some of their activities include class parties, family events, and support of parish events such as Mardi Gras. Fundraisers include, but are not limited to, St. Joseph’s SCRIP program, Campbell’s’ Labels for Education, General Mills Box Tops for Education, magazine subscription sales, World’s Finest Chocolate candy sales, and the Race for Education.
Each family is required to fulfill a 25-hour service commitment. A Service Hour Log should be completed and brought to the school office.
